Summer internships 2005-02-28
If you're interested in a summer internship in linguistics, here are a few possibilities: The Rosetta project is still looking for interns and other linguists; it's a non-profit organization for the preservation of endangered languages (look under "Roles"). The USC/Information Sciences Institute also has some openings for computational projects. There's also a Summer Workshop at IRCS, for those interested in Cognitive Science.

There was a typo in Assignment 3 (which has now been corrected, 1/29 12:30PM): For semantic rules 3 and 4, the subscripts on the VPs were wrong. The rules should read VP2 & (where & represents the conjuntion symbol) VP3, and VP2 U VP3.)
